Directions to the Center

Commuter Rail Schedule for Fitchburg MBTA Line

CPC is a little over 1/4 mile from the Concord MTBA station. Walk southeast (parallel the tracks toward Boston). At the first traffic light (Sudbury Road) go left two blocks (less than 1/4 mile) toward Concord center, then right on to Stow Street. The Emerson building is about 400 feet on the right. Driving Guide (Free Parking)

  • Emerson Umbrella is located in Concord Center, reachable by Route 126, Route 2, and Route 62.
  • From Concord Center, go less than 1/4 mile southwest on Main St. (route 62) to a fork in the road at the Concord library. Take the left fork onto Sudbury Rd. Take your first left onto Stow St.
  • From Route 2, take Route 62 towards Concord Center. Turn right onto Thoreau Street, and take your first left at the light onto Sudbury Rd. Take your second right onto Stow St.
  • About 400 feet down Stow St., turn right into our parking lot. You may also park on Stow St.

    • Building

    We are the large brick building in the first block on the right (southwest side, with colorful banners and a 1929 plaque). Number 40 Stow Street.

    Office

    Go into the front door and up the staircase to to the Blanchard Trust Gallery. Turn left to find the Emerson Umbrella and Poetry Center office. Office is open 9am-5pm Monday through Friday.
